COEIT Peer Navigator

COEIT Peer Navigator microcredential recognizes undergraduate students who engage in recruitment and student support initiatives, including providing tours, hosting office hours, participating in panels, and assisting with course registration and other university processes. As a COEIT Peer Navigator, they will assist with recruitment and student support initiatives in the College of Engineering and Information Technology. As part of recruitment efforts CPNs will attend COEIT specific recruitment events both on and off campus, provide COEIT specific tours to prospective students, and participate in student panels and other recruitment activities. Student support initiatives may include hosting open office hours to assist current students navigate the course registration and other university processes, present on advising procedures in UNIV courses, design or assist presentations on various topics of interest to current students.

Earning Criteria

- Attend all training sessions and regular meetings.
- Participate in at least 2 recruitment events and student support activities.
- Complete regular office hours and/or academic tool consultations.
- Complete the final reflection on their experiences and learning outcomes.
