Equitable & Inclusive Courses Workshop: Quality Matters and Equity Rubrics
When we think about what equitable and inclusive design looks like in practice, it can be helpful to use course design rubrics to inform our work. Participants of this module are introduced to two rubrics, The Quality Matters Higher Education Rubric (6th edition) and The Peralta Equity Rubric. Participants will look at how the rubrics connect with equitable and inclusive learning, see how faculty design their courses with rubrics in mind, and take time to consider how you might update elements of your own courses.
Earning Criteria
- Participate in the Quality Matters & Equity Rubrics module and earn at least an 85% on the module's discussion board.
