Microcredential Review Board Member

The Microcredential Review Board (MRB) plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, rigor, and relevance of UMBC’s digital credentials. MRB members apply established evaluation criteria and rubrics to review proposed microcredentials, assess alignment with institutional and workforce needs, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

This microcredential is awarded to individuals who have meaningfully engaged in the review of at least five microcredential proposals, demonstrating their proficiency in proposal evaluation and standards-based assessment

Earning Criteria

- Complete formal onboarding and orientation of the Microcredential Review Board practices.
- Participate in at least five complete review cycles
- Submit complete evaluation forms using the UMBC Micorcredential Evaluation Rubric
- Provide feedback that aligns with the rubric’s structure and depth
