Podcasting Essentials
Podcasting Essentials provides learners with hands-on experience in podcast creation, from concept development to publication, with an emphasis on using podcasts as a tool for community engagement and advocacy. Learners will explore fundamental elements of podcasting, including content planning, audio recording and editing, interview techniques, and audience engagement strategies. This experience also covers promotion, distribution, and monetization approaches, equipping learners with practical skills to launch and sustain a podcast. Guided by an experienced podcasting professional, learners will apply their knowledge by developing and publishing an original podcast that amplifies voices and stories relevant to their communities.
Earning Criteria
- Attend all class sessions, or identify other relevant make-up opportunities, and participate actively in class discussions and exercises.
