UMBC Microcredential Advisory Committee Member

The Microcredential Advisory Committee (MAC) is a diverse and collaborative body that shapes the development and implementation of the microcredentialing initiative at UMBC. Members include faculty, staff, students, employers, and other community stakeholders.

This microcredential recognizes meaningful participation in the MAC. It is awarded to members who have attended at least two committee meetings and contributed to strategic discussions about new microcredentials, programmatic pathways, and institutional alignment with workforce and learner needs.

Earning Criteria

- Attend at least two MAC meetings in an academic year
- Actively participate in discussions or subcommittee work as requested
- Contribute to the collective mission of advising and guiding UMBC’s microcredential strategy
